The only thing that is certain is the rise of global nationalism.
I'm Scottish but I'm not a nationalist. Contrary to popular belief, we don't all hold with that jingoistic nonsense up here. I worry for my children and grandchildren.I'm not I. Panic mode yet but a lot of people are.
In panic mode....Damon predictive text!
Don't be too worried. Watch less news, and think kind thoughts. It'll all work itself out in time. Europe has far too much to lose to make a nuisance of themselves.
Tom...I hope that decency and common sense will start to surface and remain.Nana...so glad to hear from you...thought you were a bit quiet lately..is all well?Cro...thank you so much for those wise words..onwards and upwards eh?
"Unsettling" is the right word. Cameron, Rupert Murdoch and the deaf Eurocrats at Brussels have a lot to answer for. They led us to this unhappy juncture.
Unfortunately, nobody is at present leading the country, and nobody knows what to do next, or who should do it. All this was predicted, but that doesn't make it any easier to deal with.
I agree entirely, Libby.
YP....who on earth knows how the future will unfurl.S...so sad isn't it......John...I do wish things were different.
It's exhausting just watching each new development, everything unravelling. Very sad.
Trish....unsettling times indeed.
Destination or journey, its never how we imagine it will be. That's the only certain thing.
Angela..very true, and tomorrow is promised to no man.
