So October has been.....

A fabulous month.
Fabulous because .........well...... yet again the fates were kind and nothing happened.
Which is good...no death, disease or destruction and for that I am truly truly thankful.
I like nothing happening.........
We visited London, we visited Seville, we had family lunches and went to work, we watched the telly and did the 'clean the house, pay the bills, rise in the mornings and fall into bed in the evenings' thing...which is good ......
so as October ends and we step into November I say a little thank you to the moon and the fates and look cautiously to the future...............
I wish you lots of 'Ordinary'......'Ordinary' is good.
How was your October?

Interesting. You know how the chinese have a curse, "May you live in interesting times"?

October was OK. A few minor illnesses but they only serve to make us grateful it is nothing worse.

I know what you mean - sometimes you just crave humdrum and a total lack of drama don't you? (well I do!)

Macy...but you lived/learned...and can tell the tale?
Steve....with kids in the house you will need things like calpol and sudocrem (or the modern version)in the house for years..and then one day miss all that when the kids have gone.
LMSG..welcome and thank you...hope your October was kind.
CQ..humdrum is comforting sometimes...drama is only good in short doses!

I too like humdrum it helps keep life simple: there's so much going on on the world stage it's good to know ordinary life continues!

Hausfrau...amen to that!

Yes a lot of ordinariness too. Although your visit to Seville sounds very glam!

ALW..if you could see me and my mates queueing up like cattle to get onto/scrabble for a seat on the low budget plane the word glam would not enter your mind! Seville was beautiful though.
Kellogsville......that's good right?

October was odd... it was great for me, not so great for some people who are close to me. It's a rather backward feeling to be so excited about your own happiness and feel a little guilty because other folks are having a rough time of it. But at the same time you don't want to miss your joy...
