S'all good......

Take pleasure where and when you can.
Feel the sun on your face.
Cuddle your grandchild.
Be thankful that bombs don't rain down on your home.
Drink a cup of tea or a gin and tonic.
Water your plants.
Sleep and be thankful to wake.
S'all good......even at times when it isn't.

Good advice, we all tend to take things for granted don't we.

We have a lot to be grateful for; and still they moan.

My friends and I often tell each other much the same things - sound thinking.

Back when I was a flight attendant, I used to receive that exact message of wisdom when I looked out of the window of the plane, down so many thousand feet to the ground below. From up there, all the problems look so small. It's sometimes a comfort and sometimes amazing to realize that most of the pressures we feel are human constructs. Time, projects, the illusion of "success", even religion - are all things humans have created to pressure people into doing certain things and acting "up to standard". It's nice sometimes to realize that, and sit back and let it all go. A hundred years from now, no one will know the difference.

Can't quite bring myself to take time to smell the roses just yet. The whole month of April was beset with family ill health and it's continuing well into the merry month of May! I do, however, cuddle my grandchildren a great deal which makes everything miles better! Lovely to 'see' you too, Libs. xxx

Twenty seven.

For now anyway.
