My current wants/needs.........

Compassion.
I seem to be running  somewhat low.
If only there was a little shop on the corner where I could pop in, proffer a card to be stamped and
say 'could you top me up please'. Am I really the only one who finds I haven't enough to go around?

Some sunshine.
Grey, wet and windy gets you down after a while, and no I'm not talking about the mister................although....scratches chin and looks off into the distance.......

A walk in shower for Ma and Pa, and being able to find a good builder who can put one in for them.

The wherewithal to book a trip to Yorkshire sculpture park...keep meaning to do it....here is a picture of a sculpture in Lisbon....what do you think?

You need to visit The Yorkshire Sculpture Park on a nice day. I know where to park for free. Nearby there's Capstone Colliery - The National Coal Mining Museum. You could easily do both in one day. At both venues it would be unwise to admit that you hail from Lancashire.

The sculpture looks very well studied, but I'd have preferred a pukka head.

The sculpture makes me feel a bit uneasy.

I may be becoming more compassionate...have some of mine. I love the sculpture...it speaks to me...

The statue is a politician. (They're all blockheads.) 8-)

That reminds me of a similar sculpture in Reykjavik where the head was replaced by a big block. It was carrying a briefcase!
It's years since I've been to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and, like you, I keep saying we should go again.
