Pretend I'm Santa........

What is on your Christmas present wish list? and let's just assume that we all want world peace and an end to all the bad things in the world....that is a given ..so this present has to be something you would really like for yourself........and none of this 'but I already have so much I don't need anything' malarkey..just think of a present that you would really like...however fanciful or daft.

I've never been much for fancy jewelry, but, if I could, I'd buy myself a gem stone ring. I'm thinking of a setting with rubies or sapphires or rubies and sapphires on a gold band. :)

My wife asked me that question yesterday, and my only thought was a whole dry-cured HAM. It would probably last for about two months, and a slice or two for lunch every day would be perfect. Cost... about £30.

I've asked for a double CD, a re-issue, of "Trio" which has on it the gorgeous voices of Dolly Parton, Emmy-Lou Harris and Linda Ronstadt, singing harmonies. As I can't bear to listen to the radio in the car, I listen to the same CD's over and over, and it's time for a new one!

I would like a set of Russian Dolls. I used to have a set when I was little and loved it but it was played with so much and I think was passed to my cousins or is in the loft looking in a sorry state. So I have asked hubby if I can have a set. There is a little shop in Lincoln which sells them so we may go on Wednesday and have a look.

A Rocket to New Zealand! I've just been sent wedding invitations for March 2018, the wedding to be held on a pretty island near the North Island and since I absolutely hate flying, would be prepared to go by Rocketship if it got me there in just under the hour!!
