My younger sister said to me last week 'So shall we talk about Mum's doo-lally-ness' to which I replied 'no,we'll manage it until we can't'. Your week is a bit like mine, Libs. Grandaughter Wednesdays are the highlight! Enjoy....and 'Strictly' starts tonight! Happy Weekend to you. (Have you bought the extra pushchair, highchair, car seat, travel cot et al yet?)If you lived nearer, you could inherit all of mine!lol.xxx

Yes, there are similarities between caring for a 1st generation family member and a 3rd generation one.
Homes for aged people in many places, organize a lot of social events for these two generations.

Nana....great fun but tiring! yes I have the high chair and books and toys etc., and my ma and her doolallyness is a bit of a struggle sometimes..old age is no place for cissies!
Duta..Yes I believe that this mixing of the ages is proving beneficial for both.

An interesting weekly schedule. You should write a novel.
