Many years ago when the kids were small and we were regular church goers, Palm Sunday was when the kids would be dressed up in tea towels and tablecloths to look like shepherds and we would sit in mass trying to turn a palm frond into a cross.
Happy memories.

We used to have Easter Bonnet competitions at our Sunday School. One year, my Dad ran over a pheasant (obviously not intentionally) on his way home from work so my Mother proceeded to turn the feathers into a Bird's Nest Easter Bonnet for my youngest sister. It was a glorious cornucupia of feathers, yellow ribbon and painted hard-boiled eggs. My sister didn't win the competition. The Sunday School teacher's daughter won it. 'It's a FIX' was the cry of the day!
Singing is always good.
Nana...mmm certainly sounds like a fix to me.....bet it was a great bonnet too.
Pam..indeed.
Ah, those were the days!
To me, the best part of Eostre is coloring eggs and eating egg salad next day!
S...happy times I must admit....although it didn't always feel like it at the time.
M...when I was a church goer I did really love Easter....not so much now.
