One dollar...

Is what I paid for this painting from a chap at the Pasadena Rose Bowl flea market many years ago.


Very bad photo......but you get the idea... I do like it.

Lovely! I've always wondered what it is that brings such comfort, looking at photos or paintings of other people doing "normal life" things like hanging out wash, or feeding the chickens, etc.

I like the naivete of that picture - like the Cornish artist Alfred Wallis.

YP....I have seen his work before! on the antiques roadshow once. I can see the similarity too.
