So.
I had my hair cut very short the other day.
Now I look just like my brother.
If my brother were to wear makeup.
Which I don't think he does.
I love the feeling of my hair being very short.
Shower....rub towel over head.....all dry!
Seeing women with lovely long locks does momentarily make me a little wistful.
But then I remember that I never had lovely long locks.
I had dishwater coloured hair that was thin and lank and never looked good.
So.
A change.

I think we need a photo! I miss my short hair - so simple to look after. I'm tempted to follow suit!

I once had lovely long locks too, but then it mostly fell out.... even quicker to wash nowadays!
I join in the chorus for a photo...and one of your brother (especially if he'll wear make up and put on a frock)
I've had mine cut short, a bit like Sharon Stone's, and I've gone blond too. Takes years off me apparently.
Cheaper than botox anyway!! :)
I loved my short hair. Might take the plunge again.It's a real pain having to cover up the grey every six weeks. I'll show you mine if you show me yours!lol

I always have to go short as my hair is so fine (aka thin and lank as you describe yours!). I do try and grow now and again but it takes so much effort to make it look good that I end up chopping it all off. Have stuck with short bob for some time now.
Mine's been short for years. I occasionally remember what it's like to push hair behind shoulders. Sigh.
I sort of envy women who have the face to carry off a really short haircut. Like Charlize Theron - I mean, stone cold bald she's gorgeous. I do not have the face/chin for a short "do", therefore the long locks.
Libby - is that the first photo you've posted of yourself - love the new hair do - very pixie-ish and suits you face
