Rushing rising rivulets........
Remember when piglet was scared 'cos of the rain? Well I was reminded of that Kids disney favourite today when there was thunder and lightning and torrential rain. This is June isn't it? please tell the weather - it's misbehaving. We sat here and had our fish and chips last week on the Isle of Wight...at the time it was fun and atmospheric and a lovely memory.....but now I am beginning to tire of the cold and the 'what clothes to wear today' question each morning......

Today has been a long day. For work purposes, on a training day, if you spend hours and hours in a room with people who have not been aroun...

Thought you were talking about the outbreak of Legionnaire's which has occurred up here. Luckily, I'm fairly far due east of the offending chimneys which are reeking (literally) havoc on the west side of my Capital City. One poor chap has died as a result. Shame on the perpetrators. Sorry, just had to get that out of the way.
So sorry too about the chuffin' rain - it's the same up here - who ever heard of central heating in JUNE?!
Oh Nana I've only just caught up with the news! how dreadful....you must think me so shallow and self centred....I am wishing you well x
Obviously missed all that - spent the day at the Space Centre in Leicester... weather not so bad there!
No,no, I didn't mean to infer that about you at all!Purely coincidental that your post title resonated with me!I'm able to keep well away from the affected area but feel sorry for those that have to live there. It's got me so paranoid that when I was passing a launderette today which was emanating fumes from the tumble driers,I immediately stuck a hankie around my nose and mouth until I was safely back in my car! That's a sight you don't want to see everyday!!!Have a great weekend, Libs.
We had near-snow and rain and now the sun has come out. What on earth is happening. OOh now i seriously feel like fush and chups as we Kiwi will say.
I struggling to remember a spring/summer quite so cold and wet.i hope it picks up for the Olympics. Lovely photo.
Not sure if my comment went through but like every Kiwi girl worth her vinegar I love 'fush and chups" in the rain or no. (rubbish weather here in Ca too)
Dang, now I'm hungry.
My Granny used to sing a song about June busting out all over. The only thing that keeps busting out in our house is the heating which I surreptitiously put on and the Shah sneakily turns off again!
I've sung the 'June busting out all over' song, Curry Queen. The lyrics also say that May was 'pretty' when it wasn't at all!
