You've made my day. Noone uses bugger here (U.S.) and it's one of my faves. As is cake, my Mum's banana cake with choccy icing. But I'm waaay too lazy to bake.
Even worse is when you're forced to bake and you have none of the right ingredients in the house either! Double Bugger! We have made some hideous cakes improvising with Bread flour instead of Self Raising, honey instead of sugar, etc!
Know that craving so well. And home-made beats anything else, so its well worth doing. I usually make a huge cake if I'm going to do it at all, and put loads of it in the freezer, all cut up into little bits, so that when the craving strikes, salvation is at hand!

4x4x4+2 eggs should get you something decent to have with a cuppa. Don`t forget the cream and jam for the middle!x

I am a rubbish baker but I completely understand the need for cake!
