NO!!!! I'd have been needing hospitalised with shock if I was her. Mind you, since we've all got to, it's a fantastic way to go. {Sorry, I've nursed someone through cancer, which might have distorted things a bit}
I said the same thing in the office Macy which some people thought was odd...but to me..well.... kiss goodnight, go to sleep.....yes its horrible for your partner but it is the absolute best way to go I think...
The thought of that keeps me awake some nights, not that worrying helps anything. But yes, as opposed to suffering a long illness that is certainly the best way to go.

He was 60....had recently retired....might be something in the 'work keeps you going' thing.
