Am I so easy to entrance? to be manipulated? that my buttons can be pressed and I can ooh and aah and sigh at installations/sculptures that to some seem ugly or to others are just the equivalent of watching soap operas, are not quite 'arty' enough for others, or rather are not elite enough,....I don't care......Another Place was magical.....the Angel of the North is just beautiful, and I wanted to sit there at his/her feet in the sunshine for hours and just enjoy 'being'........You're right Trish...my heart was also affected...how lucky you are to see such a sight regularly....

I got excited when I saw it too! I wasn't expecting it to just appear as we drove along past Gateshead.

I also went to see Gormleys men on the beach along the Mersey - weird.

I love B of the Bang at Eastlands, but they've had to take it down for safety reasons, boo hoo!

We've now got "The Dream" near my parents, which I've yet to see.

I love all this statuary, makes life more interesting.
