request for advice..
Feel a bit strange doing this but am hoping that the blogosphere will deliver. I want to go and visit Lindisfarne and Cragside and so need to find a clean, reasonable, b+b up in Northumberland for two nights early August. I have spent hours on the internet and am no further forward....any recommendations? Thank you if you even just take the time to think about it....ps sleeps 2 non smoking car driving...thanks again.

Hmm. I'd try looking online for the nearest Tourist information centre for that area and then doing it the old fashioned way - giving them a ring and speaking to somebody human. Good luck!

The Lee Farm, my neighbour virtually, we're only two miles from Cragside by car and Holy Island is about thirty-ish miles away, a nice run out...
The Lee is a large, smart, traditional in appearance, Georgian farm-house on a working farm.
(p.s. I get no paybacks from the Aynsleys, who I don't know personally!) I just know that the price is good...
