Today has been a long day. For work purposes, on a training day, if you spend hours and hours in a room with people who have not been aroun...

I like the see-through effect on the side bar!
Found you at last, Libby, despite your best efforts to hide your light under a bushel! And you see, we have so much in common - ginger is the king of jams, and I also want to be sick when I swim more than a width of the swimming pool. In fact, I have to take the kids in half an hour. Steel yourself, Tonbridge Pool-goers, for the unveiling of my corn beef thighs! Ghastly business...
To be honest, I'm finding the see-through thing a bit nausea inducing when I scroll down; although I like the swirly design in the background.
Ginger jam sounds scrummy - will have to look out for that!
The see-throughness is not planned....I have no idea what I'm doing with this messing about with the template thing....and I don't like the yellow writing.....CANNOT even work out how to do italics when writing this! and want to re-size the photo at the top...as pathetic as I sound this is doing me good as IT IS A LEARNING OPPORTUNITY....note to self.. stop exposing your idiocy to others!!!
I like the background image, reminds me of a swirl of hot chocolate!
I know what you mean about fiddling about with the template. I have changed mine and had one with a see-through background which I didn't like. In the end I picked "no background image" and then chose a colour to match instead. So you could try that - though I rather like yours.
AS to the photo, you need to find the photo again in your normal picture file and crop it so it looks the right shape. Then when you go back to your edit layout you can change the header so it should look a bit more "horizontal-ish"!!
(so says woman who is still pretty hopeless at this)
Thanks folks...more titivation later this evening..
