I'm surprised the house is'nt floating off into the horizon, with the amount of rain that has fallen today.....torrential does'nt do it justice. Thunder, lightning, and my husband laughing at me because I wondered if we should unplug the electricals and switch off the lights? am I the only person who, as a child, used to hide in the folds of the washing on the clothes horse during a storm ?

I love storms, so usually was found peering out the front door or the window, hoping that they'd come closer. And I love heavy rain. Except when we're camping. Then it's a Bad Thing.

Madame D...listening to light non-bad rain when you are in a tent or a caravan is just fabulous though is'nt it?
AG..aah yes, the cake...two large slices were consumed. When I was little and my mum wanted to know who had spilt something or dropped something or broken something, she would ask us kids who had done it...and as the silence hung in the air she would say 'oh mr nobody visited again'.....well going by the crumbs on the plate now I think he visited my house yesterday...
Must admit I was one of those kids (and still am) who like to watch from the open backdoor as nature's theatre lights up the sky...
