Calling all 'I can fix that for you Libs' clever people.......

When I log in to my blog and look at the reading list of new posts from people I follow, today I also have a long list of what appear to be advertisements...........how can I delete them? there is no right click/delete option.......grrrr I hate being this incompetent...

Not 100% sure but try clicking on DESIGN, then SETTINGS, then LAYOUT. Here you should find all the sidebar boxes, and you can click EDIT on the relevant box.

Don't blame me if it doesn't work. Cro x

Sorry, Libs, I haven't a clue how to help. Besides which, I'm far too wrapped-up in Game of Thrones to be any use to anyone at the moment! Happy weekend to ya. x

Hi Libby, first of all you need to identify the name of the blog(s) that is producing all the advertising - it should say that in your reading list. Then if you track to the far right of where it says "Reading list | All blogs" you'll see a cog symbol. Click on it (make sure you click the right cog - not the one at the top of the page but the one I have specified). It will take you to a page where you can modify the blogs you follow. Find the blog that is causing the problem and then you can unfollow it by clicking on the dustbin icon to the far right of it in the list. Hope that makes sense!

Sorry I would like to help Libby but I am not sure I can. Try hitting your computer with a hammer.
