'Y'know I didn't think I'd like it...but I loved it...'........

Those were the Misters words last night.
We tried something new, something that was unknown to us, something
that at this time of year, when the nights are cold and dark seemed to fit the bill.
I had a glass of red wine and then we gave it a go.
A Christmas Wassail.
Talented people, singing like angels.
It was a really lovely evening.
Just goes to show really.....there must be lots of things in Life worth trying eh?

So, I don't get it. Did you go to Kings College and hear a live performance? Or, did you tune into the youtube performance? (which is lovely, by the way)

Wondered what on earth you were talking about to begin with!! Glad you enjoyed.

Our wassailing is done on 12th night, under an apple tree. We don't sing though.

An old tradition making a comeback...!

Like Nana Go-Go I was starting to fear the embarrassing announcement of an act of bedroom athleticism. People don't wassail like they used to.

There's nothing like a good sing.

I also thought you'd tried something "nudge-nudge, wink-wink" - but glad you guys stretched your musical wings and enjoyed it!

Never heard of waissaling (sp?) but love that word. Funny things happen when you have a glass of red!
