And so it begins.....

I used this picture last year and have no shame in using it again now....I recycle everything else and this pic from last year  pleases me, as a Christmas card of sorts, so I am using the magic of the internet to send this to you.......yes you....to say thank you for reading my blog and have a wonderful Christmas.
A little early for a card I hear you say? well yes, but I am trying to get into the swing and tick things off my big list so bear with me......
In order to get into the spirit of the thing I am also going to brave the  shops (I have another list), wrap some presents, and Christmas is going to start in this house pretty damn soon.....

I sent out my first cards this weekend. Recycling gives me great joy. I do not exactly send second-hand Christmas cards, but I do use up all left-over ones from last year before buying any new. And (guilty secret), one of my packs of cards bears the receipt date 30th Dec 2010 - yes, I bought them in the post-Xmas sales!

Thank-you.
I wrote my first cards on Saturday and handed them out on Sunday. Today I shall post some more. Madly I make mine.. I use the cards I receive one year to produce new cards the next year - I've been cutting out stars, trees, parcels and rearranging. I don't suppose I've made enough yet.

Sounds like you`re at the same stage as me, Libs....I`m really finding that having to go to work really eats into your day when you could be getting on with better(?)things?Woe is me!Have a good week. x

Happy Christmas to you! Lovely picture....where's the snow this year?

That's a great photo! Glad you decided to post it again. Looks like an ivy heart... would be great with a stake of holly through it (just a little "Christmas Carol" reference for you). 8-)

All the cards I sent this year were leftover from other years. I figure if I loved them enough to buy them in the first place, then they're still good enough now!

Happy Yule!
